Docs Getting started

Your team

Let a co-owner, staff or moderators help run your store with their own account, and decide what each of them may do.

Most servers are run by more than one person. Instead of sharing your password, invite the people who help you. Each of them signs in with their own account and sees only what their role allows. This page explains the roles, how inviting works and what stays with you as the owner.

The three roles

Pick one when you invite someone. You can change it later on Team.

Role What they can do
Admin Everything you can, except payouts, Pro and deleting the store. Can connect servers and edit commands.
Manager Runs the shop: products, prices, sales, coupons, creators, pages and the look of the store. Sees commands but cannot change them.
Support Helps players: looks up orders and players, retries a delivery, ends a timed product, bans a player. Changes nothing in the shop.

Commands run as your server console, so whoever edits them can do anything on your server. That is why only you and Admins change them.

Payouts, Stripe, Pro and deleting the store always stay with you. Your bank account and company hang on them.

Invite someone

  1. Open Team under Settings and click Invite someone.
  2. Fill in their email address and pick a role.
  3. Click Send invite.

They get an email with a link. Without an account they only choose a name and a password; with an account they log in. Then they land straight in your store.

An invite works once, only for that email address, and for a week. Lost the mail? Click Send again. The old link then stops working.

How many people

Without Pro your team has room for one person besides you, enough for a co-owner. With Pro there is no limit. If Pro stops, everyone on your team keeps their place; you just cannot add more.

Your own roles

With Pro you can make your own roles under Team, Roles. Give the role a name and choose per part of the dashboard: None, View or Edit. To start from a standard role, click Duplicate next to it.

  • A change to a role applies right away to everyone who has it.
  • When we add a new part to the dashboard, your own roles do not get it by themselves. The Roles tab then asks you to decide.
  • Nobody can give a role that may do more than they may themselves.

Remove someone or leave

On Team, click the cross next to someone. They lose access right away and get a short mail about it. Their account stays.

Someone on your team can leave by themselves: they click What can I do? at the bottom of the menu, then Leave.

Still stuck? Ask in our Discord or mail us at hello@minecraftstore.io, and a person answers.
