Discord bot
Discord roles for everyone who buys
Add our bot to your Discord server, pick a role per product, and buyers get it the moment they pay. A timed rank takes its role back when it ends. Free on every store.
How it works
Set up once, and it runs by itself.
-
1
Add the bot to your server
In the dashboard, under Discord, click Add bot to your server and pick the server. The bot only asks for the right to manage roles.
-
2
Pick a role per product
In the product form you see the roles of your server. Tick the ones a product gives: VIP gives the VIP role, a crate key gives none.
-
3
Players link Discord once
After paying, the order page asks the player to link Discord. They are put in your server and get their roles. Next time, it goes by itself.
Built for ranks that run out
Sell VIP for a month and Discord follows the game.
-
Roles end with the rank
When a timed rank runs out, the bot takes the role away within a minute, at the same time as your expiry commands run in the game.
-
Never takes too much
If a player also bought a permanent rank with the same role, they keep it. The bot checks every purchase before it removes anything.
-
/claim for lost roles
Left the server and came back? A player types /claim and gets every role they still own. Only for their own purchases.
-
/store links your shop
Anyone can type /store to post a button to your store in the channel.
Your sales in your channels
Separate from the bot, with webhooks you control.
Post every paid order in a public channel, with the player, their head and what they bought: social proof that sells the next rank. And get a message in a staff channel when an order did not arrive in the game after every try. The Discord module on your storefront shows your server with how many members are online, and a button to join.
Questions
Do I have to host a bot myself?
No. There is one bot for the whole platform. You add it to your server with one click and it never needs a token from you.
How does a player get their role?
After paying, the order page has a Link Discord button. The player logs in with Discord once, joins your server if they were not in it yet, and gets their roles within a minute.
Why can the bot not give a role?
Discord only lets a bot give roles below its own. Drag the Minecraftstore.io role above the roles it should give, in your server settings under Roles. The dashboard shows which roles it can not give yet.
What happens on a refund?
The role is taken away, unless the player still has it through another purchase.
Does it cost extra?
No. The Discord bot is part of every store, like everything else.
