Products and prices

Add a product to your store, set its price, stock and dates, pick an image or menu item, and put your products in the order players see.

A product is something players buy, like a rank or a crate key. This page walks through the product form field by field, and shows how to sort, hide and delete products.

Add a product

Go to Products in the dashboard and click Add product. The form has a few cards. Only the name, the category and the price are required. Click Add product at the bottom to save, or Save changes when you edit an existing one.

Details

  • Name: what players see, up to 80 characters. The product's address on your store is made from the first name you give it and stays the same when you rename it, so shared links keep working.
  • Category: where players find the product. Every product needs one. If you have no categories yet, pick New category… and type a name, like Ranks. The category is created when you save. See Categories.
  • Description: what the player gets, up to 2,000 characters. Plain text. A new line stays a new line.

Commands

The commands that run in your server console when the order is paid. A product without commands shows a warning: nothing happens in the game when someone buys it. That is fine for a donation, not for a rank. Everything about commands is on Commands and placeholders.

Price

Type the price in your store's currency, like 9.99. It must be between 0.01 and 99,999.99. To lower the price for a while, use a sale instead of changing the price. See Sales and coupons.

Under the price is the Show on store switch. Turned off, the product is hidden: players can not see or buy it, and only you see it in the dashboard.

Duration

Turn on Lasts a limited time to sell a rank or perk for a number of days instead of forever. See Ranks and items for a period.

Stock and availability

All four fields are optional. Leave a field empty for no limit.

Field What it does
Stock How many are left. The product is sold out at 0. Empty is unlimited.
Most per order How many one player can buy at once, from 1 to 99.
On sale from Before this moment the product is shown with the date, but players can not buy it.
On sale until After this moment the product is gone from your store.

Stock goes down when an order is paid, by the quantity in that order. Players can put at most 99 of one product in their cart, or less when Most per order or the stock is lower. Times are in the timezone shown under the fields.

Menu item is the Minecraft item players see for this product in the shop menu on your server. Search the list of items and click one to pick it. Click No item to clear it.

Image is the picture on your store. Click Upload image and pick a square PNG, JPG or WebP file of at least 64 by 64 pixels and up to 4 MB. Without an image, your store shows the menu item instead. Use Replace image or Remove to change it later.

Discord roles

When your store has the Minecraftstore.io bot in your Discord server, the form has a Discord roles card. Tick the roles this product gives, up to 10. The player gets them when they link Discord. The bot can only give roles below its own role in your server settings. See Discord.

Product status

Each product has a status in the product list and at the top of its form:

Status Meaning
On sale Players can buy it now.
Scheduled On sale from is still in the future.
Sold out Stock is 0.
Ended On sale until has passed.
Hidden Show on store is off.

Sort products

On Products, your products are grouped by category, in the order players see them. Drag a row by its handle to move it within its category. To move a product to another category, change Category in its form. It then goes to the end of that category. Dragging is off while you search.

Products under Without a category are not on your store. This happens when you delete a category and choose not to move its products. Open each one and give it a category.

Hide or delete a product

Open the menu at the end of a row:

  • Hide from store takes the product off your store for a while. Show on store brings it back.
  • Delete removes the product, its commands and its image. Orders that include it keep its name and price.

Prefer hiding when you might sell the product again.
