Pro and custom CSS
What Pro adds to your store, what it costs, how the free trial and cancelling work, and how to style your store with your own CSS.
Everything your store needs to sell, deliver and get paid is free. Pro adds extras, per store, per month. This page explains what you get, how billing works and how to write your own CSS.
What Pro gives you
| Extra | What it means |
|---|---|
| Four more themes | Inventory, Glass, Tiers and Daylight. Classic and Realm stay free. |
| A lower fee | 2.5% per sale instead of 5%. The minimum of €0.25 per sale stays. Stripe's payment fee stays the same. |
| Your own CSS | Fine-tune any theme on the pages players browse. |
| Only your name | The footer of your store no longer shows "Powered by Minecraftstore.io". |
The lower fee counts for orders from the moment Pro is on. An order that was already paid keeps its fee. If your store already has a lower fee of its own, that one still counts. See Fees.
Your own domain is not part of Pro. It is free for every store. See Your own domain.
Price and free trial
Pro costs €9.99 a month. The first time a store starts Pro, it gets 14 days free. A store that had Pro before starts paying right away.
Pro is for one store only. If you run more stores, each one has its own Pro, so you can upgrade only the server you want.
Start Pro
- In the dashboard, open Pro in the sidebar, or click Go Pro.
- Click Start 14 days free (or Start Pro if your trial is used up).
- Pay through Stripe.
You can try every Pro theme in the preview on the Theme page before you start. See Themes, colours and branding.
Manage your subscription
On the Pro page you see when your free days end or when the next payment is.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Change card | Opens Stripe, where you change your card or payment method. |
| Cancel Pro | Stops Pro at the end of the period you paid for. Until then nothing changes. |
| Keep Pro | Undoes a cancellation, as long as the period still runs. |
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the next days and Pro keeps running in the meantime. Check your card under Change card. Pro only stops when Stripe ends the subscription.
Invoices
Your invoices are listed on the Pro page under Invoices, with the date, number, amount and status. Click PDF to download one. During the free trial there are no invoices yet. The first one comes when your free days end.
Your own CSS
Open Settings, then Theme, and scroll to Your own CSS. What you type shows in the preview straight away. Click Save CSS to put it on your store. The CSS is saved on its own, so a mistake in it never holds up your other theme settings.
Your CSS goes on top of your theme on every page players browse. It never goes on the checkout or the order page, so paying always works.
What you can target
The storefront has stable hooks you can use in your selectors.
| Hook | What it is |
|---|---|
[data-slot="header"] |
The top bar of the store |
[data-slot="main"] |
The main content |
[data-slot="product-media"] |
The image area of a product card |
[data-slot="product-body"] |
The text area of a product card |
[data-slot="product-name"] |
The name of a product |
[data-slot="modules"] |
The area with your modules |
[data-module="recent-payments"] |
The Recent payments module |
[data-module="top-buyer"] |
The Top buyer module |
[data-module="goal"] |
The Monthly goal module |
[data-module="discord"] |
The Discord module |
[data-product] |
Every product card |
The <html> element also carries the theme and mode, like data-theme="realm" and data-mode="dark", so you can write a rule for one theme only. Your store colour is available as var(--store-primary).
Example
/* A little more space between the letters of product names */
[data-slot="product-name"] {
letter-spacing: 0.02em;
}
/* An outline in your store colour around the Top buyer module */
[data-module="top-buyer"] {
outline: 2px solid var(--store-primary);
}
What is not allowed
Your CSS goes straight onto your store, so a few things are refused to keep players safe:
- The
<character. Write CSS only, no HTML. - A backslash.
@import,@charsetand@namespace.url()with a link to another site. An image as a data URI, starting withdata:image/, is fine.image-set(),image(),cross-fade(),element(),expression(),javascript:,behavior:and-moz-binding.- A
{without its}, or the other way round.
Your CSS can be 20,000 characters at most. If something is refused, the page tells you why.
When Pro ends
Nothing you made is lost. Your choices stay saved until Pro is back on.
- A store with a Pro theme shows Classic to players.
- Your own CSS stops showing on your store. It stays saved.
- The fee goes back to the normal fee for new orders.
- "Powered by Minecraftstore.io" shows in your footer again.
Start Pro again and your theme and CSS come back as they were.
