Terms of service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to the use of Minecraftstore.io by owners of a Minecraft server who open a store on it. Minecraftstore.io is operated by TMDProject, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 83543937, in these terms called "we". Contact: hello@minecraftstore.io.

By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy statement.

The service

Minecraftstore.io lets you run a webshop for your Minecraft server: a store on its own address, products with the commands that deliver them, a plugin that runs those commands on your server, payments through Stripe and the tools around it, like the Discord bot and the in-game menu. We may improve and change the service; we do not take away its core without telling you in time.

Your account

You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, and able to enter into this agreement. Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens with your account. Turning on two-factor authentication is strongly advised.

You are the seller

When a player buys in your store, you sell to them; we provide the store. That means:

  • You decide what you sell and at which price, and you make sure the product is delivered as described.
  • You follow the Minecraft Usage Guidelines of Mojang. Among other things: nothing that gives paying players an unfair advantage, no gambling, content suitable for all ages, and a clear statement that your server is not associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
  • You follow the law that applies to you and your players, including consumer law, and you take care of the taxes on your sales.
  • You handle questions, refunds and complaints from your players.
  • You do not sell anything illegal, harmful or misleading, and you do not use the platform for fraud or to collect data you do not need.

Payments, fees and payouts

Players pay through Stripe Checkout. To receive money you connect a Stripe account and accept the terms of Stripe. The money goes to your Stripe account; Stripe pays it out to your bank on your schedule.

On each paid order we keep a platform fee of 5% of the order total, with a minimum of €0.25, unless we agreed a different fee with you. Stripe's payment fee for the order is also paid by your store; we pass it on exactly as Stripe charges it. Both are shown on every order in your dashboard. A store that sells nothing pays nothing; there is no monthly fee.

Refunds are made from your Stripe dashboard. A refunded order does not give the platform fee back. Disputes and chargebacks, and their costs, are between you, the player and Stripe.

We may change the fee for future orders. We mail you at least 30 days before a new fee applies.

The plugin and your server

You may use the plugin on the servers you connect to your store, for as long as you have an account. Keep the server token secret; anyone who has it can receive the deliveries of your store. Commands run exactly as you set them up: check them before you sell.

Availability

We do our best to keep the platform available and deliveries running, but we do not guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. Maintenance is announced in advance where we can.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or profit, or damage caused by commands you set up, by your server, or by services of others such as Stripe, Mojang or Discord. If we are liable, our liability is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the three months before the damage occurred. This limit does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.

Suspension and ending

You can delete your store and your account at any time. We may suspend a store, or end an account, if it breaks these terms or the law, if there is a strong suspicion of fraud, or if Stripe ends the payments for it. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to fix it. Fees for orders already paid remain due.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We mail you at least 30 days before a change that matters for you applies. If you do not agree, you can end your account before then.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law says otherwise.
