When Tebex is the better choice
If you do not want to deal with sales tax or chargebacks at all, Tebex taking those on as merchant of record is worth a lot, especially for a large network selling worldwide. Tebex also supports many games besides Minecraft. If your server is Minecraft and you want your money in your own account, with every feature included, Minecraftstore.io is built for exactly that.
Questions
Can I move from Tebex?
Yes. Create your store, add your products with their commands, connect Stripe and install our plugin next to or instead of the Tebex plugin. Your packages and commands are the work; most servers are done in an afternoon.
Is Minecraftstore.io cheaper than Tebex?
The platform fee is the same 5%. The difference is that every feature is included without a monthly plan, and that the payment fee is Stripe's own rate for how the player paid, passed on exactly.
Does Minecraftstore.io handle sales tax for me?
No, and that is the main reason to choose Tebex. Tebex sells to the player on your behalf as merchant of record. With Minecraftstore.io the money goes to your own Stripe account, so the sale is yours.
