Create your store
Sign up, name your store, pick its address, colour and currency, and see what the Overview asks you to do next.
This page walks you through making an account and opening your store. It takes a few minutes, and nothing goes live until you publish it yourself.
Make an account
Go to the sign-up page and choose how you want to sign up:
- Sign up with Discord. Your name and email address come from Discord. Discord must have confirmed your email address, or the sign-up is refused. Your account gets a random password; if you ever want to log in with a password, use Forgot your password to set one.
- With your email. Fill in your name, email address and a password, then click Create account.
If you sign up with your email address, we send you a link to confirm it. You need to click that link before you can use the dashboard. An account made through Discord is confirmed straight away.
Already have an account with the same email address as your Discord account? Logging in with Discord links the two, so you can use either from then on.
Create the store
After signing up you land in a short setup with three steps. A preview on the right shows how your store will look while you fill it in.
Step 1: Name
Type the name of your server under Store name. This is the name players see at the top of your store. You can change it later under Branding.
Below the name you see the address your store will get, like blockhaven.minecraftstore.io. The address follows the name as you type. Click Change to pick a different one.
The address has to:
- be at least 3 and at most 32 characters
- use only lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens, not at the start or the end
- not be taken by another store
- not be one the platform uses itself, like
www,app,api,admin,mail,status,docsorstores
A badge tells you whether the address is Available, Taken, Reserved or Not valid.
You cannot change the address after the store is made. You can still put your store on your own domain later, see Custom domain.
Step 2: Colour
Pick one of the colours or click Or choose your own. The colour is used for your buttons, links and the active category. White or dark text is picked for you, so buttons stay readable. A colour that is too hard to read on is refused, with a hint to pick a darker or lighter one.
Step 3: Currency
Choose the currency players pay in: EUR, USD or GBP. Prices in your store are shown in this currency, and Stripe pays you out in it. Check the summary of name, address and colour, then click Create store.
You can use Back at any step to change something. Nothing is saved until you click Create store.
Set your timezone
New stores start in the Europe/Amsterdam timezone. If you live somewhere else, change it under Branding at Your timezone. It decides when today, this week and this month start on your dashboard. Start and end times of sales, coupons and products are also in this timezone.
What the Overview asks next
Your new store opens on the Overview page in Draft. It is not live yet, and players who visit the address get a not found page.
The Set up your store card lists the steps to finish, with a progress bar:
| Step | Where |
|---|---|
| Connect a server | Servers, see Install the plugin |
| Add your first product | Products, see Products |
| Finish Stripe onboarding | Payouts, see Connect Stripe |
| Upload your logo | Branding |
| Connect your own domain | Domain, see Custom domain |
Only two of these are required before you can publish: payouts with Stripe, and a product players can see. The rest is up to you. See Publish your store.
More than one store
You can run more than one store from the same account, for example one per server network. Click the name of your store in the top bar and choose Create a store. The same menu lists Your stores, so you can switch between them.
